Seaman already uses Google for student email accounts grades 4-12. As we look to expand our virtual environments, Google Drive has become a great option for teachers to incorporate learning activities in the classroom.
Activity 1: Logging into the district-provided Google's student domain teacher account
What are the logins for the district-provided staff Google accounts? Every staff member has the same format for his or her district-provided Google account. See the information below for what to use for logging in:
Open up a web browser and go to any Google based page, or just go to: https://www.google.com/
In the upper right hand corner, you should see a blue box that says Sign In. Click on this.
In the login box on your screen, enter your Google account address and hit Next.
Enter your password and click Sign In.
You are now ready to navigate Google using this account. Click the navigation tool to quickly access any Google apps you would like to use.
Some Limitations to Know About: There are some limitations to using the district-issued email account. First, all district AUA rules apply to email usage and email may be monitored to ensure that the User Agreement is being followed. Secondly, the only domains to which they can send email are @usd345students.com (the student Gmail accounts) and @usd345.com (the district employee accounts).
